一般來(lái)說(shuō)，“發(fā)展”在句子中是范疇詞的話，就可以省譯，常見(jiàn)的有“推動(dòng)……的發(fā)展”。
《中式英語(yǔ)之鑒》講過(guò)，promote本身就指推動(dòng)……的發(fā)展，所以“推動(dòng)/促進(jìn)……發(fā)展”可以翻譯為”promote sth，不加development。如CATTI二筆考過(guò)的“促進(jìn)旅游業(yè)發(fā)展”boost tourism，而不說(shuō)boost the development of tourism。
還比如報(bào)告例句：中國(guó)憲法以其最高的法律地位，有力保障了人民當(dāng)家作主，推動(dòng)了中國(guó)人權(quán)事業(yè)發(fā)展。
